EDU 112 Post 3 Assignment: Why parent-teacher collaboration is important

Teachers and parents have one common goal: to ensure the students receive the best education possible. To accomplish this, teachers must create an open line of communication with the parents. Letters should be sent home periodically to keep the parents informed about the upcoming events at the school, homework assignments, projects, and student progress reports. Both parents and teachers work together to meet the needs of the students.
